====2012-07-16 New release: LipidXplorer Version 1.2.4====

The new version of LipidXplorer can now be run with Python 2.6 64Bit and Python 2.7 64Bit. Using the 64Bit version of LipidXplorer needs the installation of the 64Bit versions of wxPython and NumPy. Please see [] for instructions.

====2012-06-20 New release: LipidXplorer Version 1.2.3====

The new version of LipidXplorer is now available: [http://sourceforge.net/projects/lipidxplorer/files/LipidXplorer-1.2.3.zip/download LipidXplorer v1.2.3]. Just unzip it and copy it to a place of your choice. Start it with double clicking on 'LipidXplorer.py'. There is no installer and no need to overwrite your old version (which you can delete confidently).

It provides a lot of bug fixes, improvements in the identification speed, spectra import and user interface. Please see the list of changes [[news lipidxplorer 1.2.3|here]].

====2012-02-15 Bug found in LipidXplorer Version 1.2.2====

'''Attention''': Another bug was found in the current version of LipidXplorer. The conversion of profile raw files with the "mc.raw profile" setting to into the LipidXplorer compatible file format produces wrong results. Please download [http://idisk-srv1.mpi-cbg.de/~herzog/msconvert-with-centroization.bat this file] (right click and save as) and copy it into your bin folder of LipidXplorer and overwrite the old file.

====2012-01-17 New LipidXplorer paper published====

We are happy to announce the recent publication about LipidXplorers newly implemented support for precursor ion / neutral loss scanned (PIS/NLS) spectra on triple quad mass spectrometers. Now it supports the whole range of major mass spectra technologies which is used in shotgun lipidomics. Here is a link to the article: [http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0029851| LipidXplorer: A Software for Consensual Cross-Platform Lipidomics]
